- Sage: reduces transpiration and is packed with antioxidants that fight bacteria and free radicals.
- Lauric acid and lavender oil: have an antibacterial and fungicidal effect.

To ensure that the product does what it promises, we set the number of active substances in the formula extremely high. Active substances, like coconut, aloe vera, jojoba-oil and lavender, determine the functioning of the product. A lot of the skincare brands develop products with the minimum of active substances, this way you can say that coconut oil is used but it will not equal the effect.
How does the All-Day Freshness keep you from smelling like sweat?
Our deodorant contains no ingredients like parabens , alcohol and aluminium that counteract the production of sweat, but substances that kill odorous bacteria ( antimicrobial) and mask odours.

Is it true that chemical deodorants increase the risk of cancer?
For years now, reports have been circulating that the use of deodorant may cause breast cancer. These reports have been originated from studies by Philippa Darbre, among others, from 2004 onwards and a recent Swiss research on mice in 2016 (source). In addition to both these studies, there are also a lot of international studies that prove otherwise. When we summarise the current evidence and results, we can state that aluminium does not directly cause the formation of tumours. However, the cancer fund recommends not using deodorants containing aluminium especially on damaged skin (after shaving or epilating) and during a pregnancy. In addition, the advice is to choose products that are low in aluminium salts.

Apply a small amount of deodorant per armpit, if you use a normal amount, one 50ml jar will last you about four months.
The All-Day Freshness was dermatologically tested and approved for people with sensitive skin. The cream consists only of natural ingredients that are gentle on the skin.
Yes, you can be allergic to everything, even natural ingredients. It’s not because an ingredient comes out of nature, that it’s good for your skin by definition. Certain substances can start to irritate and even damage your skin. That’s why I recommend to always try out new products on the inside of your elbow, this way you can see if you’re allergic to the product. The ingredients from SELF are macadamia, argan, shea butter, coconut oil, aloe vera and mandarin and geranium oils. All ingredients have a safe functioning, but if you are allergic to one of the substances , this can cause a reaction. So always try out the products on the inside of your elbow first.
