What is very clear to me is that the ingredient list is very transparent for each product in the web shop. So each customer can see for themselves what is in our products!

Because such an INCI list is not easy to read, I like the one of our bestseller, the All Day Dreamer moisturizer overflowing! It is not an endlessly long list of ingredients. But it does not completely and certainly define whether a product is good or bad! It mainly concerns the active substances and their percentage! I just prefer to have as few ingredients as possible, with each having a high percentage!

Aqua = very simple, this is water!

Glycerine = Glycerine is a liquid which completely dissolves in water. It is a natural ingredient made from vegetable oil. Glycerine is used in many cosmetic products, it is very safe and very effective for hydrating the skin!

Glycerine Stearate SE (naturally derived) = Glycerine stearate (derived from stearic acid) is an emulsifier and an emulsion stabilizer ingredient. It is a wax-like product with a natural fatty acid, which helps to mix water and oil. It is considered extremely beneficial to human skin because it has hydrating and restorative effects.

Cetearyl Alcohol = a coconut alcohol. Many of us are not too keen on using alcohol, but cetearyl alcohol is a very different type of alcohol. It is a fatty alcohol that does not dry out the skin. It gives our day cream texture and acts as an emulsifier. By using exactly the right amount, the alcohol will purify and clean the skin. Otherwise, some ingredients sometimes lie on the skin. Glycerine Stearate Citrate (naturally derived) = another emulsifier which ensures that you get a smooth feel while using our cream. It is manufactured from plant oils, and citric acid.

Isopropyl Palmitate (natural derived) = palm oil emulsifier

Butyrospermum Parkii = what a difficult name for shea butter! Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the nut of the shea tree. With a high lipid content, it restores moisture and softens the skin. It protects the skin from UV-rays, has an antibacterial effect, and promotes cell division (anti-aging). Cocos Nucifera = this is coconut oil. A very moisturizing ingredient especially for dry skins. It lays a protective film on the skin and deeply nourishes the skin, thus restoring the skin barrier. Coconut has numerous benefits for the skin, read more about it on our ingredients page!

Caprycyl / Capric Triglyceride = Caprylic / Capric triglyceride is a pure natural product that is made from 100% of coconut oil. It is used in creams to replaces of vegetable oil.

Aloe Barbadensis = This is an Aloe Vera extract! Aloe Vera has many positive cosmetic effects: it heals damaged skin, cools and protects dry and irritated skin. It softens the skin and also works on reducing redness.

Argania Spinosa = Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruits from the Argan tree. It is also called the Moroccan gold. The oil is quickly absorbed by the skin and it optimizes the barrier function. The ultra-hydrating essential fatty acids (omegas), various super antioxidants, and nourishing vitamin E help to create the international reputation of this oil as a natural anti-ager! Macadamia Intragrifolia Seed Oil = Macadamia nut oil is perfect for massages for example. This helps in the soothing and restoring of the moisture balance of the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and healing conditions for the skin. Read more on the ingredients page.

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil = A natural, nice smelling essential oil.

Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin) Peel Oil = a soothing natural oil, great for the skin.

Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) = geranium oil is an essential oil with a balancing effect on the skin. It has an antiseptic and astringent effect on the skin.

Glycine Soya Oil = This is soybean oil, rich in proteins. This ‘dry oil’ is also suitable for oily skin types.

Sodium Cetearyl Sulphate (naturally derived) = a relatively mild course of emulsifier coconut. It is extracted from coconut sodium salt, or sulphur. Sulphur is an element that exists in the nature. It has a very high level of safety on the Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database.

Tocopherol = vitamin E, works as a nourisher and antioxidant for the skin. Vitamin E helps to repair the skin. Fights free radicals in cells.

Sodium Anisate and Sodium Levulinate (naturally derived) = a safe natural preservative, Levulinate comes from corn, Anisate from fennel or basil. Levulinic acid contains the same compound that the bees use to protect their pollen and nectar. Not only are these antimicrobial, but they also have active skin care properties; anti-inflammatory activity that will soothe irritated skin, and balance the pH of the skin. Glyceryl Caprylate Lactic Acid = glyceryl acid

Lactic acid = a natural component of the acid protective mantle of the skin. Gently exfoliates.

Citral Geranoil = gives the fresh scent of the day cream with geranium essential oil.

Linalool = a raw material for the production of vitamin E.

Citronellol = a natural ingredient which is in essential oils.

DLimonene = a natural component of essential oils.
