We took the time to think about our mission, our values and the impact we make. It became clear: Self needed a boost. A new direction to bring our message and mission out there even more powerfully and effectively.

What started as an idea has now become reality. And today we can finally reveal what we have been working hard on behind the scenes: discover your new Self – a new look & feel, with the same loving, natural and high-quality formulas that you are used to from us.

We've been your go-to for natural skincare for 8.5 years, and now we're taking it to a whole new level. Are you ready?!

Self was born out of pure motherly love, with a mother who was determined to help her daughter with her eczema skin. After endless searches for solutions that didn't work, she decided to take matters into her own hands. The result? Products with a very clear mission to nourish, protect and restore the skin in the most natural way. And that is still what we do, with 100% natural, vegan and locally produced formulas.

Our products are gentle enough for the most sensitive and delicate skin, yet powerful enough to combat skin conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea. In short, suitable for the whole family.

100% natural - our products are made with 100% natural and vegan ingredients. We consciously choose #nonasties and stay far away from synthetic, irritating or hormone disrupting substances. Your long-term health is central to Self.

Why we choose a new look

What has always driven us, we are now highlighting even more – literally and figuratively. Self continues to be about taking care of yourself and each other, but now radiates this with a fresh look that is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or gender. Our products are there for a self-care moment for yourself, with your partner, children or friends. Self is about skicare to share. Because sharing is caring .

WHAT EXACTLY HAS BEEN CHANGE?

Smarter packaging - Our wooden lids? Not so great for the planet. Sensitive to moisture, difficult to recycle due to the pink coating, and also very expensive. Our new packaging is not only more recyclable, but also protects your favorite products from light for longer because it is no longer transparent. The shelf life of your products increases and our costs decrease. And yes, that means lower prices for some items! Win-win, right?

In a more neutral jacket - over the years one thing became very clear. Self is not only suitable for women but is proudly used by the whole family. We opted for a more neutral vibe and colours that appeal to young and old. Now everyone - yes, men too ;-) can proudly use our products and take them with them on a weekend.

What exactly remains the same?

Self remains true to itself. The core of our brand remains intact. Our beloved formulas remain as you know and love them. Our refill principle also remains unchanged, and these can even still be used together with the old, pink pots.
