The difference between mineral and chemical sunscreens
Mineral filters —like the Non-Nano Zinc Oxide we use—remain on top of your skin. They act like a mirror , reflecting UV rays before they can penetrate. Think of them as a protective shield that physically shields your skin from the sun. These filters are naturally gentle and therefore very suitable for sensitive skin.
Chemical (or synthetic) filters , on the other hand, penetrate the upper layers of the skin and convert UV rays into heat, which is then dissipated. They work from the inside out. Chemical filters are often lighter in texture, don't leave a white cast, and offer highly effective protection—even in small doses.

Non-nano zinc oxide remains on the skin, so it doesn't absorb, and protects against both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays. Because we choose non-nano, you can be sure the particles are too large to penetrate the skin. Safe, even for sensitive skin—and good for the environment.
Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazone | chemical sun filter
A powerful UVB filter that offers high protection even in small doses. Highly photostable, gentle on the skin, and perfectly suited for sensitive skin.
Ethylhexyl Triazone | chemical sun filter
One of the most efficient UVB filters currently available. It absorbs sunlight very selectively, making it effective without requiring large amounts. This filter is also skin-friendly and photostable.
Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid | chemical sun filter
A water-soluble UVB filter that works well with other filters to create a broad spectrum of protection. Gentle, effective, and kind to the skin.
