100% vegan & natural
Self contains the best ingredients from mother nature. Our products are 100% natural and vegan, free of silicones, manipulated ingredients, artificial fragrances and colors, parabens and other nasties. In addition, we choose oils with a proven positive effect on the skin, such as mandarin and geranium, in a very low dose to minimize the risk of a possible allergy.
Sustainable packaging
At Self we believe in making conscious choices for a better future. That's why all our packaging is designed with sustainability in mind. Our packaging is recyclable, reusable and made from environmentally friendly materials.
We also offer a refill range for many of our products. This means that you can continue to use your favorite products without having to purchase new packaging every time. It's an easy way to reduce your carbon footprint and save some money at the same time.
Halal certified
Self's entire range is halal certified. Both animal products and alcohol are strictly avoided during our production process. For example, no alcohol is used in the ingredients and equipment is cleaned with vegetable cleaning products without alcohol.
No hormone disrupting substances
At Self we consciously avoid hormone disrupting ingredients. Our products are designed with your health and wellbeing in mind, so you can enjoy every Selfcare moment with confidence.

Our packaging
Production and recycling of packaging always has a CO2 footprint, but we want to keep this as small as possible! That is why we choose more sustainable packaging.
- Our plastic packaging is from European soil and is mainly made from 100% recycled rPET plastic. This material is approved for both cosmetics and food and contains no traces of phthalates or softeners, estrogen-like materials or Bisphenol A (BPA). This means you can be sure that no harmful substances end up in our products!
- Our lids and caps are also produced in Europe and consist of compressed waste wood.
- In addition, many of our products are also available in handy refill packaging. That means double profit: you contribute to a more sustainable world and save money.
Sustainability as a common thread
Since the end of 2023, we have been working with a Belgian fulfillment partner to achieve our sustainability goals. This collaboration enables us to optimize logistics processes, minimize packaging material and reduce the ecological footprint of our deliveries. In this way we contribute to a more environmentally friendly future.
How should I recycle the products?
Thanks to the recycling of our packaging, less energy is required than the production of new plastic and fewer raw materials such as petroleum are needed. Moreover, the plastic bottles no longer end up as residual waste. A double benefit: we pay less and we pollute less!
We are constantly looking for the most sustainable packaging options. For example, Self previously carried out a rebranding in which the packaging became even more ecological. We only work with suppliers who make ecology a priority, just like us.
