October is International Breast Cancer Prevention Month. During this month, breast cancer is put in the spotlight worldwide, an important initiative considering that approximately 1 in 8 women comes into contact with this disease at some point in their lives. In Belgium, Pink Ribbon has been raising awareness about breast cancer since 2006, something we at SELF fully support! That is why we organize promotions throughout the month of October in which we support Pink Ribbon and all Heroes.
Today we put Verena's story in the spotlight. Unfortunately, Verena was confronted with the disease, but her story is truly a source of inspiration for many.
