Ok, I admit it, I sometimes get up in the morning and when I first look in the mirror I sometimes think: OH HELP! Recognizable? 😉 But, a first look in the mirror with a nice post-it with a nice message to yourself is a lot nicer! So stick some nice post-it notes here and there with compliments to yourself... On the mirror in the bathroom: “SMILE! It's a new day!” Or on the large mirror where you assess your outfit: “Wow! Looking good!” You will see, you will feel a lot better about yourself!

We've always been so hard on ourselves. Most of the criticism you get is from yourself. That's just how it is. That's why it's really okay to give yourself a treat from time to time! Have you been dreaming about those amazing killer heels for a while? You know what? Buy them! Have you actually agreed with yourself not to buy Starbucks coffees anymore, but are you now really looking forward to one? Just do it. Pampering yourself every now and then really doesn't hurt!
Do something you enjoy every day!
We already have to do way too much in life that we sometimes don't feel like doing. Try to do something for yourself that you enjoy every day. Read a few more pages in a book. Would you rather curl up on the couch with a blanket? Or would you like to treat yourself to an extensive bath? Doing! Doing something every day that you really like and enjoy = pure self love!

The transition from summer to chilly autumn can sometimes be quite harsh. From those fun summer vibes to back to work. Ouch. Do you know what can be very beneficial? A wonderful day at the spa. Really and truly! Book a massage, be pampered with a relaxing facial or hop from the jacuzzi to the sauna and back to the steam bath. You will see, you will come outside and you will feel a lot more relaxed. A must-do during that busy September!
Enjoy the little things intensely
We all strive for beautiful, great moments in our lives, making fantastic memories. But don't forget the little things in life that make you feel good. That make you feel good every day. Take a look around your house and remind yourself how good you feel. How delicious the food your friend made for you is. Or if there is no traffic jam to work, just think about it for a moment and be happy that you arrived without any traffic jam frustrations! If you start to appreciate the little things, your life will be a lot more fun!
