The beauty of Mother Nature
Let me tell you about the ingredients you can find in our SELF products. They’re all natural ingredients with proven beneficial effects. We make use of coconut oil, macadamia, argan oil, sheabutter, aloe vera and mandarin and geranium oils.
All these wonderful ingredients have their unique benefits. For example, coconut oil is rich in antioxidants and protects against premature aging. Macadamia is helpful against those annoying wrinkles, and is good for the heart and blood vessels. Argan oil stimulates the production of new skin cells and sheabutter helps the skin hydrate. Aloe vera has a calming and soothing effect and mandarin and geranium oils help against skin irritations.
That’s right, all these ingredients have been carefully chosen for there amazing benefits! And the combination turns our SELF products into a true source of energy for your skin!
Summer inspiration
Summer is nearly here, and I’m loving it! That calls for some tasty delicious Summer dishes and drinks. But it can be difficult finding the inspiration to create them and some variation in our food is always welcome! That’s why I’m sharing my favorite Summer recipes based on some of our SELF ingredients that’ll put you right into that Summer mood!
Pink coconut berry smoothie
I love la vie en rose! This recipe can be found on the website of nutritionstripped and looks absolutely amazing! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but as an entrepreneur you may not always have the time for it. That’s why sometimes I just grab what I can find and stuff it in my mouth and hope for the best, which usually doesn’t end well… So a breakfast smoothie seems like a good alternative! You can even prepare it the night before so you don’t have to waste any precious time in the morning, and you can start the day with a good mood!
The only things you’ll need are coconut milk, coconut bits, water, frozen berries, zucchini, chia seeds and vanilla egg-white powder. Mix everything in the blender and voila! You can find the recipe on Nutritionstripped’s website: https://nutritionstripped.com/coconut-berry-smoothie/
Arugula salad with macadamia nuts
Summer and salads go hand in hand! Sometimes you can even discover a new and heavenly combination, like an arugula salad with macadamia nuts on Lunchboxbunch.com. The macadamia nuts add a lovely crunch to your meals! The only things you’ll need are mango, avocado, macadamia nuts, arugula and some lovely Summer dressing. Add all ingredients into a bowl, add the dressing and there we are! Simple, healthy and quick!
Don’t let anyone tell you salads are boring! You can find the recipe on Lunchboxbunch: http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/2011/05/arugula-salad-mango-macadamia-avocado
Aloë vera water
You might have seen aloe vera water in your local supermarket, and it’s one of the biggest trends at the moment. No wonder, as it’s incredibly healthy! You can either buy it from the stores or you can even make it yourself, although that can prove difficult as not all ingredients are readily available. Aloe vera water contains small pieces of actual aloe vera and it can be very refreshing on those hot Summer days!
Bring out your SELF inner beauty! And you can start with these lovely drinks and dishes. You are what you eat, everything starts with a healthy lifestyle and proper skin care. That’s why you should choose for the most natural and beneficial ingredients! Have you got any lovely Summer recipes? I’d love to hear them, so don’t be afraid to send them through!
