THREE TIPS TO LIVE MORE MINDFULLY!
Mindfulness is the word of the last few years. How could it be different? Everyone is always busy busy busy, our lives are hectic and stressful. No one can do this without hitting the wall! So that's why it's extra important to take time for yourself!
WHAT IS MINDFUL LIVING?
Worry less about what was, what may be, what still needs to be done. Mindfulness is actually about living in the moment and taking the time to do so. Give yourself that time.
Stop thinking about your endless to-do list. Let go for a moment. Because busy busy busy does not equal happy. Not necessarily equal to unhappy, far from it. But it's important to find the balance. So it's time to press the pause button every now and then!
3 TIPS MINDFULNESS FOR BEGINNERS:
Take a mindfulness walk: When was the last time you went for a walk? Just enjoy nature. Without your smartphone. Without thinking about what's on your agenda? The constant stream of activity, especially through technology: TV, smartphone, social media, etc. can really keep you busy day and night. So enjoy your walk, what you see, what you hear. Let your senses work!
10 minute break? Have a seat. 10 minutes. Don't look at your iPhone. Turn off the television. No radio. Don't force yourself to try to clear your head. Usually this doesn't work anyway. But let the thoughts come. And flows. But above all, try to just live in the moment for ten minutes. Listen to what you hear around you. Maybe your neighbors? Birds?
Another way to experience mindfulness is through breathing exercises. You will focus on your breathing. This is an effective way to calm down and clear your head. Because you focus on your breathing.
